Also, the extensibility has been a key factor, the ease of administration and freedom of attribute and workflow creation make it a platform where not only EAs are conserving their knowledge, but also collaborate with key functions like IT-security, data privacy and quality. So far the service has been quick and reliable and easy to access, always helpful even when tough questions needed to be answered. I have never experienced the level of engagement with any vendor (post purchase) that is provided by Ardoq. Their chat support is the best ever. I usually get an engagement within two minutes. The support team is knowledgeable about the product - in the early days they walked me through different processes. They helped me with coding techniques for the reporting query language (gremlin). Glitches associated with new releases have been fixed within a week. At the customer success level, we have been provided with access to Ardoq leads in different areas to discuss proposed approaches to using the product that we were considering. Ardoq has a team that produces detailed and helpful white papers on recommended practices for maximizing value from the product. Finally, the development group provides substantial new functionality on a quarterly basis. The product update icon on the main screen is a little box with a bow. SPARX is a great tool to use as the typical Reference Library for an EA implementation. I evaluated a number of products before landing on this one. They are the most extensible, and assisted us in migrating our old Rational Software Architect and Rational system architect drawings into SPARX in exactly 2 weeks. Over 1000 diagrams were successfully migrated - hands free - with their ModelFlow application. Additionally, it has all the features we were eager to get - User based role protection, diagramming, dramatic extensibility, and the ability to configure the SPARX library to hold any attribution we desired with all aspects of the data management - from Capabilities, to Vendors to Applications. Additionally, since it's a relational database, we were able to link it up with Tableau and create great reports for our business partners day 1.
