We rely on AWS for our customer facing infrastructure, making use of another provider for our backend systems. While I spend most of my days using the backend systems, I really enjoy when I get to use AWS due to the interface and services on offer.

My overall experience with Google cloud platform has been very positive because it provides a rock solid and scalable backbone for running our online learning systems, virtual classrooms and digital training resources. The main reason this software has been such a success for my team is that it keeps our instructional platforms available around the clock, even when thousands of students and faculty members log in at the exact same time during peak enrollment periods. When you are managing a virtual course infrastructure, having a reliable cloud setup prevents system crashes and ensures our digital learning environment stays completely stable. Several core features have worked exceptionally well for our daily operations, particularly identity management, backup management and self-service access. The identity management system makes controlling user permissions simple, letting us enforce single sign-on security so only verified staff and instructors can access sensitive course files and administrative tools. Automated backup management acts as a massive safety net, continually safeguarding our digital course archives, lecture recordings and student data without requiring manual effort from our team. On top of that, self-service access allows our technical staff to quickly spin up extra virtual servers or testing environments whenever we roll out new instructional tools, keeping our project schedules moving without long delays. The global coverage and flexible metered billing model have also brought great value to our online programs. Having vast global coverage means that our remote instructors and students enjoy fast load times and reliable streaming quality regardless of where they are logging in from. Meanwhile, the metered billing setup allows us to pay strictly for the actual cloud resources and server capacity we use each month, which helps us stretch our departmental budget during slow academic breaks when system traffic naturally drops.

By incorporating the Amazon S3 storage solution into the company, we were able to reduce the management of storage infrastructure and also have a reliable, scalable, and flexible storage platform.

We have been using Other cloud for long for our SAP DR (Disaster Recovery) Setup but not satisfied at all because when the need came to recover the data it was not available to us. It caused the loss of time and data. Then we shifted our DR setup to IBM cloud which offered us a seamless two way data sync facility. which we tested twice a year and found the result satisfactory.

My experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has been solid. While OCI may not have the same market share as some other vendors, it brings decades of enterprise-grade experience, especially in database technologies over the past few years. The background is reflected in reliability and strong database capabilities.

Huawei Cloud can be a big player in the future and even compete with other similar and more mature solutions due to cheaper licensing costs, but for now, lacks a lot of features that were added many years ago in other tools. Also, many tools don't support Huawei cloud, which makes integrations harder or impossible.

Overall, my experience with Google Cloud Storage has been very positive. It provides a highly scalable, secure and reliable object storage solution for storing and managing data of all sizes. The service integrates seamlessly with other Google Cloud offerings, making it well suited for backup, data leakage prevention, application storage and analytics workloads.
