OrbusInfinity has been a strong fit for our Enterprise Architecture maturity journey. It has enabled us to move from static documentation to a living, operational EA capability that actively supports decision-making, delivery, and transformation. Beyond the tooling itself, we have had consistently positive experiences with Orbus training, enablement, and customer support. The platform is flexible enough to align to our internal EA principles and governance model, while still providing structure through a robust metamodel. OrbusInfinity has become a central source of architectural truth - supporting integration with our broader ecosystem, improving visibility across business, applications, technology, data, and capabilities, and helping to break down knowledge silos across, business, IT and delivery teams.

We have faced challenges while planning for a stainless steel plant for our fasteners division where the product outcomes are different types depending on the machine operations. We have successfully implemented it in our power plant where the fact sheets are few as compared to the fastener division. So the methodology which we were following earlier matches exactly with that suggested by SAP LeanIX SAAS application at the cloud level.

With the custom query code ability, integration to OpenSearch dashboards/visualization and flexible modeling language options you can model any type of system or dataflow. With enough time to learn and build, an enterprise architect would have a very powerful tool to do their work. The team at Bizzdesign also still manage to keep the pricing affordable and accessible as compared to other similar EA tools. Cons: With so much capability, there is an impact to usability. Much of the Enterprise Studio functionality is not intuitive and there is a steep learning curve to getting proficient with all the functionality. The impact of this is very low user adoption as solution architects get frustrated and have difficulty picking up the skills to diagram in the tool. User experience from a Horizzon consumer perspective is also not very polished. The tool is meant to document technical aspects of architecture, but also to create documentation for business leaders and end users. It would be helpful if there was a cleaner "web site" like experience presented in the front end to non-technical consumers. The interface is still a little on the counterintuitive side for users without familiarity to the tool. Once again, that leads to low adoption and EAs end up having to hand-hold users through the tool. To be evaluated: There has been strong evolution at Bizzdesign with acquisitions of other technology and AI capability advancements that will seems to bring alot of value. We're waiting to see how many of the new features and advances will be added to Horizzon and Enterprise Studio. I'm hoping to see a more simplified and polished user experience from the front end service perspective and more intuitive design tools with AI assistance to increase adoption from more junior solution architects.

The platform is specifically built and aligned to support individual users, students, learners and small groups who want to start budget architecture mapping and modelling with limited funding given there are a few limitations with comes at a cost. The software offers great capabilities in most areas which are required to develop an IT strategy as well as a digital roadmap for any enterprise ranging from small, medium to large enterprise.
Read all insights and reviews for ADOITArdoq provides a strong, structured, and opinionated foundation for establishing an Enterprise Architecture practice. Its modular “Solutions” and predefined metamodels reduce analysis paralysis and help teams achieve quick early wins. The platform’s API enables straightforward automation, and the rapid pace of development—combined with a transparent roadmap—creates confidence that the tool continues to evolve meaningfully. Support is excellent, with fast response times and practical guidance. Viewpoints, Workspaces, Reports, Dashboards, and especially Surveys offer a well‑rounded toolkit for collecting and visualizing architectural data. However, surveys remain the critical bottleneck: they require respondents to understand both business and technical concepts, which is not always realistic, and translation needs in non‑English environments reduce the value of prebuilt content. Survey fatigue also poses a challenge, making sustained engagement difficult. Overall, Ardoq is a powerful and improving platform that accelerates EA maturity, though organizations must plan carefully for survey governance and translation workflows.

Read all insights and reviews for Sparx Systems Enterprise ArchitectABACUS is a flexible and powerful enterprise architecture platform with strong repository, modelling, anaylsis and publication capabilities. Its configurability is a major strength, particulalry where an organisation needs to adapt the metamodel, frameworks and reporting to it's own arechitecture practice. One area for improvement is the effort required to maintain data quality and repository integrity. While the platforms extensibility allows this to be addressed through custom scripting and automation, greater out-of-the-box support for validation and governance would reduce administration overhead. Avolution is currently undertaking a significant product modernisation programme, and it is hoped that investment in these areas will help address these challenges over time.
