Cohesity has allowed us to unify our backup data into a single platform and enabled us to move away from aging systems with high maintenance costs. The product offerings are straightforward, and there aren't any hidden costs that we've seen in our first four months of ownership.

We have had a very positive experience using Druva Data Security Cloud as our enterprise backup & data protection solution. The platform stands out for its Cloud-native architecture, which eliminates the need for complex on-premises infrastructure & significantly reduces operational overhead.

From the implementations and support work I've been involved in, my experience with Dell Data Protection Suite has been largely dependable. Once deployed and tuned, it behaves predictably in day-to-day operations and does what it is expected to do without frequent intervention.

Honestly, Rubrik has made my life a lot easier as someone managing backups across a fairly large VMware environment. The SLA policy model is the biggest win for me — I stopped manually tracking which VMs were protected and which weren't. That said, the support experience has been hit or miss. Ticket responses are fast, but getting someone who actually understands your specific environment takes a couple of escalations sometimes. Overall though, for the core job of protecting data and recovering fast, it delivers.

Commvault is a robust backup platform with endless integrations and features, however, it is also a highly maintenance-intensive tool. pretty much needing a full time engineer focus on its governance and maintenance

I have dealt with the NetBackup product for over 20 years across the various ownership changes from Veritas to Symantec and now to Cohesity. The technical support and service I have received over the years has been one of the best vendor experiences I have had.

Overall, my experience with Acronis Cyber Protect has been very positive. What really stands out is how it brings backup, disaster recovery, cyber security, and management together in one platform. The management console is very easy to use and with the centralized monitoring makes it simple to keep an eye on backups, storage, and security alerts. Some of the more advanced features do take a bit of time to learn, but overall, the system performs well and is stable.
