Plex has been a game changer for our company. The way in which all aspects of our business are integrated from back office to quality data makes it possible for us to do more with less resources. It is one source for almost all of our business needs. We track financials, Human Resources, purchasing, sales, EDI, production, quality data, product traceability, Shipping and Receiving, inventory control and more all in one system.

While GE proficy appears to be a capable platform that aligns with our manufacturing requirement's, our overall experience has been challenging. The implementation lacked sufficient governance, architectural oversight, and standardization, resulting in technical debt and inconsistent solution across sites. These issues significantly affected confidence in the development and ultimately led to us replacing GE as the implementation partner. The product itself has the potential to deliver value, but that value has been undermined by the quality of the implementation approach and the need to address architectural issues after deployment.
