Working within Workday HCM is fundamentally different from traditional relational database systems. It requires a shift from thinking in tables and rows to understanding an Object Oriented Data Model. While the system effectively centralizes the employee lifecycle, it is an expert user platform; the depth of configuration possible means that the system is only as logical as the architects who designed your specific tenant. It has successfully moved us away from manual data reconciliation across regional silos, but it has replaced the labor with the need for a dedicated, highly technical internal support team.

My experience has been very stable & dependable. It's not something we instantly got comfortable with, but once we understood its working style it was a truly reliable part of our daily HR operations.

Our HR operations run on Oracle Fusion cloud as it covers most of their daily operation requirements.

It is very robust, insightful, and has a lot of centralized data to draw from. It is not user-friendly at times.

UKG Pro fields didn't allow inter-communication with other sections of the application.
