I think overall the system is just a clean and fluid system that is extremely user friendly and simple to understand. The outstanding support from the Akeneo team aside, the actual system itself has some great features and really clear ways to use them. I have been in from the beginning of implementation as a co-lead on the project and am now the primary admin, and I have never once had any glaring issue or question in relation to Akeneo PIM and how the system operates. My only ding would be the category system. I wish that there was a hierarchical structure to the categories that you could see rather than top and bottom level folders being plainly "categories" across the system. This would allow for better integration with external platforms (at least in our case) such as Bynder, where we reworked the taxonomy to fit the structure of our Akeneo categories. We called each layer in Bynder a parent/child/grandchild, etc but do not have a way to translate that through our Bynder connector with Akeneo. Read all insights and reviews for Akeneo PIM

In Pimberly Indigo I really appreciate the product interface which tells you the lifecycle of a product. When using the lifecycle stages to filter it is really clear what stage a product is at and helps us communicate effectively to other teams. I also find that the customer service is extremely helpful and friendly, not only do ticket get picked up quickly, they get fixed/implemented within a couple of days.Read all insights and reviews for Pimberly Product Information Management

Overall, Salsify has been an extremely useful tool for our organization. I appreciate the customizations we can perform on our own, the ability to execute independent integrations via the open API, and the functionality to leverage the tool as our organization sees fit vs how the developer may envision the "best use" of the product. We encourage our cross-functional teams to see Salsify as a solution tool as much as it is a PIM since often times we can fully or partially automate repeated tasks by leveraging the in-app tools. I do struggle sometimes with the support team's overall knowledge of the application, but I feel that in part that is due to the infinite ways that orgs might be using the tool, but I also jokingly say when I submit a support ticket, "Okay, let's go get gaslit," since I frequently have to go in circles until it is acknowledged that there is a real issue. Despite this, the tool is one of my favourite pieces of software and always look forward to what I can accomplish next.Read all insights and reviews for Salsify PXM

PIM/DAMs are inevitably cumbersome to implement and manage. The Plytix team has developed capabilities ahead of my needs while the exceptional support team meets me where I am at. Sales Layer provided numerous features to help enrich product content (my main task), and these are all very easy to use. It's an open platform that allowed us to set up our account in the way that suits our company better. It makes daily tasks easier by providing all the information in one place and giving us updated feedback on content quality. Information is easy to access, edit and save. Besides these technical features, we have always been provided with prompt support when needed, and information about updates that might interest us. Read all insights and reviews for Sales Layer
