Love the plex community, do not love the lack of communication from plex employees on the community, but that is improving. Customer service is outsourced which causes issues with time differences and language barriers, but we have had a recent successful case so hopefully that is also improving. VisualFactory is a fantastic tool for managing shopfloor operations. Using this software, we have been able to collect data on our production timings and log issues throughout our build. Previously we were using paper to track our products on our production line, but VisualFactory has totally digitalised our shopfloor operations. We now hold digital work instructions, with parts and BOMs linked to each sub assembly, something we only had on paper before. We now digitally log, track and report on issues encountered throughout the build, helping us with root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. We are now collecting more data than we ever anticipated, and we are using that data to develop insights and learnings. We have used the system for over 7 years now, and we have it pretty well tailored to suit our needs, but it still surprises me how much functionality there is that we haven't fully utilised yet.
