Celonis is overall a great tool to get an understanding of your process related data. The UI looks great and there are plenty of visualization possibilities. However, since they are leading the development of this technology a lot of the new features are made available and being heavily advertised before they are completely ready. This happened for example with the new object-centric process mining, where a lot of questions regarding the implementation and best-practices couldn't even be answered by their internal experts due to this technology being released before the staff was properly trained on it. While the support used to be a bit slow, we are now being really well supported and are in a constant exchange.Read all insights and reviews for Celonis Process Intelligence Platform

My overall experience with Power Automate Process Mining has been positive, especially as an org deeply integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem. The platform offers a user-friendly (familiar to the other MS products) interface and seamless compatibility with other MS products, making it an great starting point for process mining and automation needs in a MS-centric environment. However, there are notable limitations. PAPM tends to be less agile compared to some of the other process mining tools on the market, particularly when working outside the MS ecosystem or integrating with non-Microsoft platforms. The support we have received from SAP Signavio regarding the use of Process Insights has been outstanding! However, we are missing certain analytical features in Process Insights that would allow us to validate the tool's insights. Other critical limitations arise from the tool's central design decisions, since the foundational assumption is that the process landscape is somewhat aligned to SAP's best practice processes. During our pilot project, we quickly realised that, for processes that have evolved over decades and are therefore no longer aligned with best practice, most of the assumptions and, consequently, the insights are invalid. Nevertheless, we were able to uncover improvement potentials in the aforementioned pilot, but the validation of these was hindered by the lack of flexibility in the analysis functionalities.Read all insights and reviews for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence

The platform's intuitive interface and visualization tools make it easy to design, analyze, and optimize front-to-back value chains and processes. The ability to connect assets and resources to processes / process steps - and analyzing the result from multiple angles - contributes further to the positive experience. The open, constructive exchange with product management about challenges, roadmap and upcoming enhancements make us feel truly heard and supported.Read all insights and reviews for ARIS

I have had nothing but good experiences with ABBY Timeline. Bottlenecks, inefficiencies and automation opportunities can be quickly identified thanks to the platform’s robust data visualization, process mining and analysis capabilities. Once you get used to it, the interface is easy to use, and its capacity to manage big datasets and provide useful insights greatly enhances process optimization and decision-making. All things considered, ABBY Timeline is a strong and useful tool for data-driven operational development.Read all insights and reviews for ABBYY Timeline

To large organisations, ServiceNow is a go-to standard for IT ticket reporting. Organisations use it to schedule new laptop releases and collections for staff, which is where its functionality is and should be limited to. Whilst it is a stand-out service for what is a standard business process, it provides useful event logs, metrics and workflow management and process flow customisation. This was a recent contended for a client upgrading a workflow outside of IT/administrative-related tasks. This is where the flaws of ServiceNow become apparent. As a process-flow tool, many organisations can look at the platform as a potential contender or replacement for a custom-solution for a task that is not suitable to the platform. This presents a conflict of interest as SN will support new clients onboarding the platform, to their operational and financial expense. SN needs to emphasise the strict uses of their platform and how it thrives in very specific use-cases. Accepting new clients to rework the system eventually leads to lost-business and poorer image that is both unfair to the client and SN. For Process Mining, SN is also a go-to standard, and it can best use its live-data when clients use the platform appropriately.Read all insights and reviews for ServiceNow Process Mining
