Phishing attempts, suspicious links and weird attachments get filtered out before you even notice them, and the system is pretty good at catching the more subtle social-engineering emails that usually slip through other filters. You also get clear notifications when something is blocked and the explanations are usually straightforward enough for a basic user to understand why it happened. From a power-user perspective, the visibility is one of the biggest advantages. You can dig into message traces, see why a decision was made and get a decent picture of who in the organization is being targeted the most. It's not flashy, but it's reliable and once you know where everything is, it becomes a helpful part of your workflow. Integration with Microsoft 365 and Google Workplace is also smooth, so you don't spend days fighting with connectors or policies. That said, the platform isn't perfect. The interface feels old-school, and if you're new to it, you'll probably spend some time clicking around trying to find the right menu. Some actions that should be simple take more steps than they should. The cost is also on the higher side, and while the protection is strong, smaller teams might feel the price more than the value at first. And although the system is powerful, some of the advanced configuration options can feel a bit overwhelming until you get used to the logic behind them. We started looking into Abnormal to replace a more traditional email gateway solution that we had in place. We were spending a lot of time constantly maintaining block lists and sorting through false positives. We were spending a lot of time trying to tweak things to protect against incoming threats, only to have attackers switch tactics and eventually get through. It was a constant cat and mouse game, and we felt we were always behind. When we first deployed Abnormal and ran through a POC, we layered it on top of our existing solution. It was both impressive but also alarming as we quickly discovered the volume and extent of just what was coming through our traditional solution. Abnormal from the time we started the POC to full implementation Abnormal has just worked. I was amazed at just how easy it was to setup and configure as well as just how effective it's been. Abnormal has been truly transformative not only for my team, but our business as a whole.

We have been using Darktrace for just about 2 months now, the platform has been brilliant so far and it was picking up things that our old provider was missing. We have a team of people from Darktrace that are helping us with training, issues and questions and so far they have been able to resolve everything. Our users haven't complained about the new service and it's now protecting the company more with the identity module and the dmarc module as well which all tie in together to fully protect the company. The platform itself is brilliant and so easy to use, the mobile app is one of the features that made us go with Darktrace as you can remediate issues straight away if needed as the AI will automatically block or lock users out if it thinks their account is doing something it doesn't usually do etc.
