Intune has the capabilities to be an incredibly powerful platform for managing vast fleets of devices, if you're willing to pony up for the many tiers of licensing and deal with some of its quirks.

My overall experience with Ivanti Neurons UEM was a very positive experience. The platform provided strong capabilities for managing endpoints and allowed me and my team to reduce the manual overhead. However, the initial set up felt a little too complex and making it compatible with my environment.

Workspace One UEM is the best MDM solution for managing the various platforms (Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS & Linux) from a centralized console. For us, we have all these platforms managed by different customers & we are able to manage them seamlessly on the UEM admin console.

Jamf Pro offers a wide variety of options for Mac, iOS, and tvOS devices through their MDM. The product evolves with the changes in the industry and is always looking to improve the customer experience while maintaining Zero-Day support when there is a new update. Whether implementing a zero-touch deployment, pushing out printers, or thwarting students from installing games on their devices, Jamf has what we need to keep our very small tech department afloat. While we use it in a very limited way (hence all of the N/A responses since I cannot speak to those from experience), it gets the job done!

We leverage it to automate deployment of critical tools, enforce configuration baselines, and manage a mixed fleet of test and production machines. Once properly configured, policy enforcement and scripting are highly reliable. We successfully built a fully automated deployment of our DNS filtering agent across all Windows architectures (x86/AMD64/ARM64), providing a seamless user experience without triggering any UAC prompts. Support has been responsive and technically proficient, often engaging in live sessions and coordinating with backend teams when complex issues arise. There are some challenges: we’ve encountered edge‑case issues related to APIs, auditing, and portal responsiveness. These required multi‑step investigations with support to resolve. Overall, Hexnode UEM has proven to be a capable and flexible solution for Windows endpoints, offering a strong balance of features, automation, and cost‑effectiveness for our use case.

NinjaOne is a powerful, streamlined platform for managing core IT operations, including device policies, Windows patching and security updates, software updates, mobile device management, device setup automation and scripting, server and PC backup/restore, remote end-user device remote control and support, integrated documentation, and ticketing. While there is still room for improvement in various areas, it stands out as one of the most effective all-in-one IT management solutions that I've used over the past few decades.
