All various services you could need or want from other cloud providers while also allowing us to stay with a single company. Keeps the management and support to a minimum and allows streamlining of the billing process.
it works, even though it took some time to get it in place the service works we have a redundant private cloud accessible to our offices connected on our mpls network that is also provided by them.
Multiple layers of security to protect our data. Redundancy of data for peace of mind. one it was finally in place it works great. Scalability is awesome and will facilitate any growth we need for our business.
Depending on which cloud provider you use, the community often has a wide range of open-source tools and documentation to help developers integrate. Using AWS or google might have more public information out there, but we've been able to figure everything out after a little trial and error.
time it took some time to get everything implemented. we were also dealing with multiple project teams with them and they don't coordinate internally
the lumen staff didn't seem knowledgeable on differences in options. the knowledge base did seem to have the answers I needed. Billing was comlicated and we did have to have them correct a few mistakes.
