The virtual BLE and AI technology are innovative and are helping us to simplify and reduce costs of deploying, maintaining and operating location services, especially compared to the battery-based beacon solutions we have looked at prior to Mist. The rich API support is also powerful as we can export data as needed into our other management and business process systems easily.
The beacon point product contains the necessary technology to deliver the location accuracy needed for our use case. There are additional components of the project solution which required changes in how data was captured, consumed and transmitted. The Mist team was open and responsive to meeting our specific needs and was able to successfully deliver. The beacon point product we have implemented has not only delivered on the required location accuracy, it has also been a highly reliable product as needed for the project. There was very little work required to configure the beacon point when installed. With a near plug and play design, we have been able to rapidly scale the technology and reproduce the expected results at each facility. With the capabilities of the core technology, we have also been able to easily explore additional RTLS use cases, which go beyond the more traditional RTLS for asset management.
