I really like how Amazon has improved this tool over the years, adding Generative and Long-form options that really do sound lifelike.
its good to AWS Service to convert text to speech
The variety of voices to choose from, how un-robotic the voices sounds, and how easy it is to implement and test.
I can't really blame Amazon for this, but the only issue I have is when I use the integrated Polly application while building out call flows in the Genesys platform because it doesn't provide the option to preview what it will sound like. The only way I can really test that is to publish the call flow and dial into it. Again, this isn't really an Amazon issue, it's more of a Genesys issue.
it will not support many indian language like kannada, telgu etc
The voices can lack emotional range at time, the pacing can be awkward, and the pay per usage can make it a bit challenging to estimate cost early on.
