Azure Container Apps Likes & Dislikes
It abstracts AKS while still giving you flexibility, event driven autoscaling with KEDA, built-in Dapr, traffic splitting and very good cost optimization tools (alongside good sponsorship programs).
1) Scalability: It automatically scales to handle varying loads efficiently 2) Integration: Seamless integration with JIRa 3) Management: Simplified management of microservices applications reduces overhead quite a lot
The main features that I like about this product is its simplicity and efficiency especially running containerized applications without the need of manage kubernates infrastructure. This platform also provide autoscaling features and seamless integration with other Azure Services which makes the deployment and management of applications extremely efficient.
The service is hidden alongside many more similar Kubernetes and container orchestration services in Azure. Costs are usually quite opaque and it takes some time to learn.
1) Integration: Initially integrating ACA with existing workflows such as those managed through JIRA can be complex 2) Complexity: Advanced features like autoscaling, monitoring and security features require thorough understanding and setup, which slows down initial deployment times. Also, configurations can be complex to set up 3) Cost Management: Effectively managing costs associated with ACA, especially in large scale deployments, presents a challenge sometimes. Optimizing resource allocation, monitoring usage patterns, and adjusting configurations to avoid unexpected expenses requires continuous attention and expertise.
What I dislike about this product is about Azure container app as it has the limited advanced configuration and tuning options compared to full Kubernetes environments. Troubleshooting can be difficults due to its insufficient detailed and diagnostic.

Navigating Azure Container Apps Reveals Integration Perks With Opaque Cost Structures
Container Apps gives us a managed, serverless container platform where we can run microservices without managing Kubernetes, with solid autoscaling and good integration with the Azure ecosystem. - IT MANAGER<50M USDMiscellaneousReview Source
Azure Container Apps Simplifies Deployment but Limits Advanced Configuration Options
My experience with Azure Container apps is positive because of its simplicity in managening and deploying centralized applications without the need of maintaining full kubernetes clusters. This also provide the auto scaling features and integartes with azure Monitor, and also supports seamless CI/CD workflows. This service is mainly fits for microservices and event-driven architectures. - MANAGER OF IT SERVICES1B-10B USDTransportationReview Source
Azure Container Apps Simplifies Deployment but Shows Limits in Configuration and Latency
Azure container apps has very much streamlined our deployment process. It abstracts away the Kubernetes complexity and helps in focusing on application logic rather than worrying about infrastructure. Autoscaling and seamless integration with other Azure services makes it the best choice for service architectures. - Senior Software Engineer10B+ USDManufacturingReview Source
Simplicity for Container Workloads Balanced by Log and Debugging Limitations
It is very useful for simpler use cases that do not require complex container orchestration but is capable for containerized workloads. It does what it promises, without thinking about k8s complexity but having benefits like auto-scaling, service discovery.... Sometimes you require workarounds to make things work that is not so good for the experience we had. - IT MANAGERGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
Container Apps Simplify Scaling But Can Add Complexity And Increased Costs
Once you implement a container app you will never go back. It allows you to focus on the app and not the hardware.
