I appreciate DeepL's outstanding translation accuracy, especially for nuanced Italian expressions. Its clean and intuitive interface makes it quick and pleasant to use. I also value the consistent quality across the languages that I know fairly well (Englis, Spanish and French), which helps me work efficiently in multiple languages every day.

Ease of use and time saving

DeepL is incredibly easy to use, providing immediate translations for both short and extensive texts without any wait time. The alternative words or phrases suggestions are a standout feature, saving a lot time and notably improving the quality of translations. I also find the glossary feature to be very helpful for ensuring consistency in terminology. Being able to translate entire documents and then export them as either a PDF or a Word file is a huge plus, making the whole process much more efficient.

I dislike that DeepL's advantage over newer AI translation tools is narrowing, as competitors are becoming more and more versatile. I also find some advanced features locked behind the paid plan. Finally, some errors occur in longer or context-heavy texts, requiring some manual adjstments, which is anyhow something common also in other environments

Often freezing; sometimes difficult to change the language

Sometimes a page reload is necessary to trigger a translation. But this could also be a local browser issue that doesn't affect the core translation functionality and has a minimal effect on overall productivity.
