Quickness, improvement and update frequency, support
TrendMiner is fast and we can analyze big series of data at a glance. The different searches are really powerfull and the tool is quite easy to accomodate to.
Customer service from TrendMiner is one of their biggest strengths. It is really exceptional and they are dedicated to helping you get the most from the tool and not just sell a tool and walk away. Their openness to feedback and consultation of customers in their planned releases and product roadmap means that when you ask for a new function, you generally get it in the future, which is what makes them such a good provider to work with. The integration now of the data science notebook into the tool means that we can now really take analytics to the next level with TrendMiner.
SSO sign-in and persistence of session on computer wake up can be a bit annoying, but it is truly minor.
We do not really dislike some features, some evolutions could help us in the future but it does not block our usage of the tool. For example, the collaboration between users should to be improved. Also, some hours are GMT (monitoring) and people are working all around the world so it will be easier to understand if we had local time in the monitoring..

I use Trendminer as a user, to browse tag values, set up snapshots, view long term trends and do root-cause problem solving cases. I have historically used many different tools, softwares and visualization aides - and Trendminer is a shining and smooth pearl in a sea of sharp rocks. The web-based UI easily connects to our data warehouses and process a tremendous amount of data to satisfying visuals and trends with puzzling smoothness. I once tried, for curiosity's sake to pull up 21 years worth of time of a self made tag that calculates every minute a moving average over 24 hours. (to 6 figure precision). That is a fairly heavy load on both calculation and visual interpolation. It did demand a slight delay, but it was far removed from the system crasher it should have been. If I had done that query myself directly to the database, I would be getting phone calls and emails from sysadmins. - Methods Support1B-10B USDManufacturingReview Source

A tool for process performance monitoring and detailed analysis
TrendMiner is a great tool to analyze and monitor continuous and batch production with the ability to quickly provide process insights which are not easy to do with other tools and applications.
