We are using Embacardero product since long. There developing very good products but there is long way to go. For big projects it becomes irresponsible for long time for generating meta data. If you are using little application then this is best option. It is providing very good control support that will reduce you manual work with good application performance. you can have access to core level api. it is quite expensive product and without life support. they ask you to play, if you want any support. Visual studio is very good application on countside. Embarcadero Rad Studio is an Excellent Choice for a Development Platform
We have used Embarcadero products even before they were acquired by Embarcadero. We love Delphi and find it to be the best cross-platform development environment in existence. The support is excellent and the product continues to constantly improve. Excellent 3rd party controls and other add-ons are readily available.
