They have a good system to colocation which we use and for our needs we use a digital supply chain on all our location and sites we have.
Integrate with other vendors
The best feature I liked is how easy the portal works, where you can simply drag and drop network pieces to build solutions and see an estimated price while you are designing.
The pricing for this system is very high but in the bottom line we think its useful for us.
They are slow.
Unfortunately, the price of the service is not affordable to all company sizes, but I suppose it's getting more and more accessible as it gets more scale. On the support side, I confess I took more time than expected to learn how to setup the APIs and other stuff, despite asking for help. And on monitoring capabilities, Equinix should have more options than just e-mail and dashboards.

We use the Equinix Fabric to connect our customers to public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and AWS. Because of the way everything is automated in the portal, creating (or deleting) connections is a very smooth operation. I think the portal is the strong point of Equinix. Also the pricing is better than competitors, this because at Equinix, you can order connections from 50Mbit up (until 1Gb and above).
