I like the ability to see current and former board members along with the executive leadership team. I appreciate the biographies and personal information BoardEx provides for specific individuals. Lastly, I appreciate the ability to see connections between colleagues and certain people I am researching.
The accuracy of data it provides. This has got to be the best part of this platform. I have used alternate data vendors too for getting information on C-suite leaders in big firms for our CRM campaigns but BoardEx beats it. It has the potential to capture very recent organisational changes and any good CRM unit would just want that.
I find it difficult at times to use the advanced search function to find people who have sat on a board of a specific company in the past. There are sometimes inaccuracies in LinkedIn/contact data. Furthermore, the reliance on solely publicly available data might mean that I miss connections colleagues have with private-company executives.
The webpage takes a lot of time to refresh whenever we search for a new contact.

My department utilises BoardEx to get updated information on a potential customer like their current company name where they work, last three company names, and the experience has been great with this platform. Upon validating the accuracy of data I found that it provided 95% correctness in its results. It has the capability to capture very recent organisational changes at C-suite levels. Also, on a plus side BoardEx is very well integrated with Informatica and it is very easy to extract data in Bulk and store them in SQL tables.
