Its edge servers are placed all over the globe resulting in quick, low latency information retrieval. It already secures and uses signed URLs but can also be used with other AWS services like Shield and WAF for enhanced security. You can also apply geo-restrictions. It also supports live streaming of videos.

Some things I really appreciated are its low latency, high-level security with end-to-end encryption and the AWS Shield that offers a shield from DDoS attacks, as well automatic scaling to handle workload spikes.
Websites with dynamic content can be a challenge where you need to refresh the distribution every time there is a change in content.
Understanding why something is or isnt cached is not always obvious. Data transfer, regional mrincing can be hard to predict.
If I had to mention any cons, they would be that the configuration is a bit complicated for those who aren't familiar with AWS, managing redirects can be a bit tricky, and there's no way to keep track of expenses due to it's pay-per-use model, so figuring out how much you'll spend won't be easy
