The ease of use is very intuitive with a nice interface that makes onboarding quick, the strong performance it runs smoothly with very minimal glitches, with great support when it is needed and very helpful all the time.
I am amazed by the versatility and power that Autodesk Maya provides for 3D animation and Visual effects work. The tool is very feature rich and has excellent API support for tool development.
Animation and rigging toolset. It offers unparalleled control over character movement, which is critical for creating realistic VR training scenarios. Additionally, the ability to customize the pipeline using Python scripting allows our technical artists to automate repetitive tasks and export processes efficiently.
The limited customization doesn't allow for some of the freed-up flexibility, and the reporting tool's overall functionality could be more advanced for ease of use. Finally, the learning curve can take some time getting used to and fully understanding all of the features.
1. The software can be quite overwhelming for new users, due to its vast array of features. 2. I found subscription package to be quite expensive. 3. Customer representative teams often disppoint me as most of the time they do not have answers to my queries and I often had to search online for my queries.
The steep learning curve for new team members. The interface is dense and feature-rich, which means onboarding new designers takes significantly longer compared to other intuitive design tools. Mastering the complex menu structures and shortcuts requires extensive training and time investment.
