There are some compatibility issues with other OEM products. SD-WAN for wireless connections is missing with this product. Its reporting capabilities need to improve.
Network OS and Aruba Central are buggy. Aruba support for SD-Branch isn't good. We had many cases open and it was a struggle to find someone that could help with our problems. Eventually, we were put in touch with higher level engineers that were more knowledgeable.

An okay solution for smaller deployments
We've used SD-Branch for several years and there've been ups and downs with the product. There've been numerous bugs with the network OS and cloud management platform. Over time, the OS has become more stable and we upgrade them less to avoid introducing new problems. Years ago we really didn't like the solution, but it's better after simplifying the solution by removing features that caused us problems and software upgrades likely resolved bugs.
