Read Full ReviewWhen a new connector version is released, the code of each integration has to be modified manually and redeployed. There is no automated process to apply new versions. It takes a lot of efforts from dev and testing perspective.
Read Full Review1) Boomi is cloud hosted and we are all on prem otherwise. Getting connected to one of our on prem databases was a struggle even for Boomi support. We also struggled to figure out how to set up a basic API connection. Another thing we really didn't like was after we did get an api connection established, we had to explicitly call out all the api fields. Typically api documentation is good enough to lay out all the fields, but this seems like an unnecessary step. We are used to integration tools that let you run an api call and automatically pull in all available fields. 2) The low code feel of the tool was not intuitive for our team all who have coding backgrounds. 3) Finally, the lack of ETL options was disappointing. It's ideal to be able to push clean data into our databases vs having to do all that cleaning within the database.

The Boomi integration platform runtime even on-premise gets updated and patched frequently every quarter. We can plan and schedule these runtime upgrades to our day and date preferences. Hence we don;t need to plan budget an yearly project to maintain the software concurrency and uplift. Also, since the beginning, the local Boomi team from account executives to technical PSO have been engaging and supportive or addressing issues, bugs and feature requests within the product.
