Working for an ad agency, we incur multiple invoices from media vendors all over the state. Keeping track of media vendors, client codes, and net/gross budgets are seamless with Quickbooks. Long gone are the day of using dated Google sheets for billing. Quickbooks integrates beautifully with our project management software to make expense reports, billable hourly reporting, and invoice management simple yet safe and secure.

I'll start by saying that my company does not use the most recent version of this application but still, for such a well known, established brand, I expected more. The platform is unstable and crashes on a regular basis. It's also difficult to use for a first time user.

1. Very expensive for small businesses/agencies. Some of the add-ons we would like should be included in the basic subscription. 2. It would be beneficial to have an option to display multiple windows at once without having to open new tabs. 3. I've experienced glitches or difficulty when trying to navigate through past invoice histories. 4. Would be great if we had the ability to set custom prompts when setting up a new client so we could have our own unique guardrails in place for how we customize invoice templates.

It's unstable and crashes often, I'm constantly wondering where to go next as it's not very intuitive, we have to create a lot of workarounds to capture some information that is essential to our business but not included in the Sales Order template

While simplicity is key, there have been times that the inability to customize the tool to meet our specific has been frustrating. For example, adding custom contract terms required us to find a work-around.

    Convenient and straighforward

    For small businesses, QuickBooks Online is straightforward and relatively easy to use. It has helped us to manage estimating and invoicing services. We're able to easily track what has been sent or not; previously, we would send estimates and invoices by email, making it difficult to track.

    Integration to Quickbooks Online accounting system from our manual entries makes our lives easier. It also makes our processes faster in an efficient and effective way. Thus, having QBO made more complex decisions and more accurate financial numbers for our company.
