What I dislike about IBM StreamSets is that some pipeline transformation logic requires writing Groovy scripts, and for data engineers not familiar with the scripting language, it takes extra time to build and debug the logic.

1. When we run the pipeline to transfer large datasets, it breaks sometimes giving an error which is difficult to debug 2. Working with Variable can be tricky
