From resource perspective,BML has a team of dedicated, experience and hardworking onsite team .Majority has a number of years working for BML, except for 1 or 2 relatively new personnel. Interaction and relationship is good.The number of onsite support however is inadequate to support a project this size that pose some Turn Around Time issues. The challenge faced so far is the understanding on requirements from both parties, especially since the development is conducted offshore.Solution Design finalisation takes sometime and testing has several iterations before the testing is considered good to go.The onsite interactions prior to development is critical to minimise the testing phases . The migration phase is challenging for both parties especially the mapping part as it requires understand ing of the rules in legacy system and any changes in the production environment. From product perspective, the parameter based assist in product development and deployment.The system has some good control measures .The client/customer however needs to have clear understanding of the product setup and comprehensive documentation for business continuity. From project implementation perspective, there need to be a clear understanding in terms of the expectations and SLA, which needs to be clearly spelt out in terms of coverage and responsibilities especially in areas like performance testing, application tuning, configuration and interfaces/integration with the surrounding systems. For maintenance and support for product that has gone live, the mandays quoted for enhancement and changes so far is reasonable and fair. This project can be considered the first footprint in South East Asia for BML which has to accomodate the regulatory requirements and changes in this area.

The team are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the problem is solved. We have a feeling that they are always with us side by side even they are supporting us remotely. When we needed their intervention in person they are always available. The product is very reliable stable ,secure and flexible .

On a general note, ICBS is a robust system, customizable to meet business needs. System is stable an offers a large variaty of reporting tools. Only thing that lack in ICBS is documentation to help get hold of the system.
