Encryption between files is very good. So, security is on point. Integrated even with Microsoft apps. Accessibility is from anywhere via the web or even a mobile app.
The ability to easily store and share files to our team and customers.
Ease of attaching documents and sending emails that need to be encrypted.
Larger files tend to take longer. This stops it from being used on it. There is a bit of a learning curve for new users. File sync issues are a serious concern
I had challenges dealing with Tech Support. They were not very responsive. In addition ShareFile changed the terms of services they were providing right in the middle of our contract and it significantly affected our business flow. One main issue is that we were able to use ShareFile without having everyone in our company have a user license and we were able to treat them as a client login, but they changed the policy so that everyone with the company domain must have a paid sharefile license.
Sometimes, recipients of my emails do not understand that they may need to set up a password to access the document. Several times I have set the security level to the lowest, so that no password is required to access the documents.
