Flexibility and ability to adapt
Variety of options to customize to specific needs of consumers
The product's flexibility and configurability stand out. Stibo Systems MDM adapts well to specific business requirements, allowing the platform to be tailored to different data domains and operating models rather than forcing rigid processes. In addition, its integration capabilities are strong, enabling effective connectivity with surrounding enterprise systems and supporting broader data and application ecosystems. For example, we have been able to configure domain-specific data models and approval workflows and integrate them seamlessly with downstream systems, such as point of sale, stock and waste, finance systems and digital channels (websites, ordering platforms, allergen guides) enabling consistent master data management while still meeting the differing needs of multiple business areas and departments. The platform's integration capabilities support effective connectivity across the wider application landscape
There is a big gap in Stibo when it comes to future enhancements. R&D do not understand the importance of business first and fixing crutial abnormalities in the platform. Bugs are treated ok, but getting an improvement in is very hard and not very transparent.
Reporting is limited Not advancing in AI as fast as needed
The user experience is primarily optimised for desktop use, with limited support for mobile and tablet friendly interactions. This can be a constraint in hospitality and retail environments where operational and data stewardship activities may benefit from greater mobility. While the platform is functionally strong, the lack of a more responsive or mobile-optimised UX can reduce usability for users who need to review, approve or interact with master data away from a a traditional desktop setting.
