1. being able to pull test cases from our existing library of components and object repositories so the QA team doesn't have to create new regression tests each time 2. Native integration with Jira for bug tracking is very useful 3. the AI CV and self healing has been my holy grail as a dev, those features have really lightened our support task load
nicely integrated with the UiPath ecosystem. Especially useful if you already use the Orchestrator Cloud and UiPath Studio. Necessary to run reliable bots and scale RPA in your enterprise.
When we compared this with other tools(with my team, who are the end users). This one was easier to use, faster to create and run tests. They have good UI and in-built orchestrator and possible linking with Jira and other agile tools like Github.
1. Its a bit of a headache trying to figure out exactly which combination of Runtime vs. Testing licenses you need as you try to scale up. 2. The initial setup for Orchestrator and Test Manager integrations is steeper than Id like... its powerful once its dialed in, but the documentation for some of the more complex CI/CD pipeline configurations can be a bit sparse. 3. Heavy resource consumption on lower-spec VMs can cause some lag in Studio when youre working with massive project files
definately needs some improvement in certain aspects. Test Management is not that intuitive.
The only thing I don't like is that this being a sales driven company, the sales teams of theirs have a lot of sales pressure, so their people call me a lot and are asking for more money for everything. Which is killing my spirit of using this tool. If they can better ask me what I need and then help me, I would be happy to help. This happens even if we have a 3 year contract with them, increasing the number of licenses every 6 months.
