Automatically updating financial reports saves a lot of time each month. Budget templates with a workflow that can be directed to specific users have been great. Being able to continue to operate in excel had been a strength as well.

What i like most is how vena combines the familiarity and flexibility of excel with enterprise-level controls. it allows teams to work the way they're used to, while adding centralized data, version control, workflows and auditability. this makes planning more efficient, reduces risk, and improves collaboration without forcing a complete change in how people work.
The account reconciliation process isn't quite as functional as some other tools, but as a relatively low cost add-on it gets it done. Learning how the reporting works took a little time but after working on some reports you pick it up. Our primary dashboard refresh time is a bit slow.
Not much, Once implemented there is very little need for IT's help and I loving having all the data available in one location.
the main drawback is the learning curve for advanced features and custom configurations. setting up and maintaining more complex models can require specialized expertise, and performance can sometimes slow with very large or highly complex templates. continued improvements in usability, speed and more out-of-the-box best-practice templates would make the experience even better.
