I love that I can access Workday's mobile app from my phone and snap photos of itemized receipts to use for my expense reports, which makes the entire reimbursement process a breeze! No more having to keep track of what I am spending and where by holding onto paper receipts, because now I can easily submit a receipt from anywhere, instantly using my phone!
Somewhat consolidates finance, HR and other core-business functions into a cloud-based solution. Its ability to track any and all changes made by the user or system.
1. Automated Payroll and Expense Management: Its tracking automation has significantly reduced manual effort and errors while processing Payroll. It is also helpful in hybrid organizations where we can easily manage both full-time employees as well as contractually in different locations all together. 2.Integartion with HCM : Workday financial management system smoothly integrates with HCM Workday This allows our HR and finance teams to align on staffing costs,benefits,and headcount planning in a seamless way. It manages data in a scalable way. 3.Real time budgeting: The ability to monitor budgets in real-time as programs are running is a game-changer. We can track expenditures vs budget, helping us make timely adjustments and allocate resource3s more effectively as enrollment changes.
I do wish that the receipt submission process was slightly more intuitive, because I have to go into the Workday platform and rename files accordingly, which is somewhat time consuming. I also wish that I could create naming conventions for any receipts that I have added to keep consistency across my expense reports. Finally, I would love to see Workday leverage AI or other emerging technologies to streamline the reporting process and make expense reporting easier than ever.
You can search for anything, but it's hard to find something. It requires a lot of end user training in order to be able to properly navigate its different features and reports so one tends to spend a lot of time looking for simple things such as specific expense reports, journal entries, vendor payments, etc.

Reporting Usability: While reporting is powerful, creating or modifying reports can be cumbersome without advanced expertise, limiting agility for end users needing quick insights. 3. Steep learning curve : The interface can be complex for non-finance users, requiring significant training and ongoing support to become proficient.

I find this ERP very much user friendly, that is we don’t need to remember any specific T.codes or report names, we can just type in general what we require, like if we require to see balance sheet we can type only balance sheet and multiple reports available for the same pops up with, description of what each report shows, this makes it very easy to use.
