It's self service Analytics for Business Users with governed data models controlled by IT. Its Networked BI lets users create shared data models and metrics that can be re used across the departments. It has the capability to embed dashboards and analytics directly into portals.
Birst has friendly user-interface platform. The feel and outlook of this software is pretty straightforward. It is flexible with any type of data and has ability to handle large data sets, is easy to use and navigate. It easily integrates with data from other sources. It has a great customer support team. The changes in the backend can be made easily.
Birst is very UX. It is cloud-based and fully integrated with Infor LN. The system allows different dashboards to be set up, therefore different users can use specific analytics.
Infor Birst is not a user friendly design, its user interface looks built on an old pattern. It is a complex in implementation and requires a BI expert resource. The performance issue starting arising when you use large datasets if not well modeled.
Birst sometimes works slowly while exporting extensive data sets. It also takes more time to refresh when changes are made at the backend. The costs are higher for this platform as compared to other software. It has a steep learning curve and the user can get overwhelmed at the beginning. The reporting features are limited and can be made ore user-friendly.
