-Custom service is outstanding. They will build custom functionality for you were necessary, and may even scale it for all users. -Businessmap is fundamentally easy to use. It does not require a computer science degreed to build. -However, if you do have a computer science degree, the breadth of APIs provided allow for extreme customizations and some really impressive integrations
This tool is great to provide a clear visualization of project status and team member activities. It's also good to analyze efficiency because the built-in time logging functionality makes it easy for the team to allocate time to a project.
You need 15 user licenses for the basic subscription. There's a 14 day test subscription at no cost, after that you'll need to upgrade. A personal use license could be available, or even a non-commercial license.
-Because Businessmap is designed to be easy to build, there are some basic functionalities, that while easy to build from a logical standpoint in traditional code, require complex solutions in the tool. -The user management has room for improvement. While we can limit who provisions licenses, we also need a way to tag users to business areas so we can manage allocation by area. Otherwise, it's a bit of a free for all.
The grade of use and adoption at the team is unbalanced. As final users they often find the tool complex, what leads to low adoption.
