Good summary capabilites and patent trend rappresentation
GoldFire is very user friendly and search results can be finetuned in different manners, depending on the preference of the researcher; either via narrowing e.g. to format, time period, author, or use the lens option to narrow down on the topic at hand. The recently added OCR functionality opens up a even more enhanced collection of knowledge that is in our electronic information, which is not all yet in OCR format. The faster we can do good literature searches the better; we want to know what work already has been done, and do not want to invent the wheel again.
The negotiation phase was the most difficult, where the team knew they had the best product and put the best price to it.
1) Lost natural language query capabilites of former versions?; 2) No descriptors for IPC and CPC class in Patent Analysis; 3) No automatic creation of assignee name groups (I know it's possible to manually create groups! Try for example ExxonMobil and you'll get pages and pages of assignees to be selected/deselected one by one)
I have not experienced any dislikes.
