Strong encryption techniques to keep the product secure. Ease of adding secrets through UI. Token-based authentication.
The cost for the licenses are considerable, depending on the complexity. What I additionally dislike most is the steep learning curve, especially when setting up advanced configurations like dynamic secrets.
Steep learning curve and is complex to manage roles and policies
License needed for each UI user as well. The license count can increase quite a bit if LDAP based authentication is enabled and add groups.

Hashicorp Vault Supports Token-Based Authentication and Secret Rotation for Applications
Hashicorp vault is one of the pioneers in identity based authentication. It can be self-hosted or cloud-based. The goal of this project was to secure AppRole secrets in a scalable and fault tolerant environment like Hashicorp. The applications were authenticated using Hashicorp tokens in exchange for an AppRole ID and Secret. Hashicorp vault rotates the secrets / keys automatically. It has evolved over the years and works well for all businesses whether large or small. - Software Developer50M-1B USDConstructionReview Source
