I like how user friendly the console is to manage the firewall. I also like how I can watch in depth training videos so I can learn and troubleshoot any issues.
The VPN global client works great. I also like that all Dell Sonicwall us the same OS system for familiarity.
Its security, reliability, speed, and ease of administration.
The biggest weakness is that when I contact customer service, I usually have to talk with someone from India who has a strong accent which makes it difficult to understand. I don't like how all the protection isn't integrated and you have to license products individually. Maybe it helps some organizations so you can choose what you need and don't, but for me, I would like it if I purchased the physical firewall, then I get all the licensing with it.
The Firewall is pretty complex and does take some upfront configuration and setting up. It is also a challenge to make simple request on the firewall. Also, the firewall is not that great for web control.
The device rarely gests hot, perhaps because of its small size.
