Toshiba Managed Print Services

Using PaperCut (Toshiba's solution for managing our printers), allows our teachers and staff to print to a single queue and retrieve the print job from any school copier location. A website is provided to order copier toner supplies when needed. B&W printing is provided as part of the contract prices. Printing in color is limited to approved staff and costs around 5 cents per page.

As a product its very helpful for us in terms of delivering the fast in output and in terms of Service the Vendor is really great in managing the same thru well in service and procurement.

The biggest benefit is the ability for deployment. If a person needs a new printer - it can be added effortlessly. The ability to see what's printing is very important as often users will send job(s) to printers and mistakenly choose the wrong one and wonder where their papers printed out at. The ability to track usage is huge as well for billing purposes as we can see what department prints more than others and if they're printing B&W or Color. Toshiba is a great name brand of printer and print services, and their customer service support is most of the time top notch. Only one time did I have a bad time with a Toshiba customer service rep.

Sometimes, obtaining needed printer parts (toner, imaging units, etc.) can be difficult to obtain due to backorders, etc.

some time we used to receive the repetitive problem like the paper jam, ofcourse the reason for the problem also if we are not placing the paper in tray properly.

Wish there was an option to allow users to to see their printing costs, etc in the cloud console. So it'd be nice to have an option for guest access which would be read only.
