Flexibility is amazing in watsonx, it supports both third party/open source and IBM's own foundational models. Giving you a lot of control. The AI Studio and integrations were another of the attraction towards IBM watsonx. The interfaces are very compelling and intuitive. Enterprise grade governance and compliance is unmatched.

I appreciate that Watsonx brings model training, data handling, and governance together in a single environment, which makes the workflow easier to follow. The platform also gives you good visibility into how IA decisions are tracked and audited, something many tools skip.
It does have a steep learning curve. There are so many options and settings to learn that deploying custom models take a lot more configurations than expected initially.
Some advanced capabilities are not very intuitive at first, so there is a learning curve for temas who are new to enterprise AI platforms
Some areas of the platform require more steps than expected, especially when jumping between AI and data tools. It also has a learning curve that might feel heavy for smaller teams or anyone new to enterprise-level AI platforms.
