The Omnissa client is very resource-friendly and loads quickly so I can get connected and start working. The updates are quick and the interface is easy to manipulate for better viewing experiences.
Reporting and automation are outstanding and Omnissa (well, really VMWare) was always willing to incorporate our feedback into the product roadmap
I like the simplicity and that it drowns out the noise of some other apps. I can get to what I need when I need it, which is right after opening.
If you forget to configure the VM, the initial start takes up all of your screens. The updates start when you start the application instead of updated in the background via an update agent. I would like to see more analytics regarding the connection so I could provide more information to our helpdesk if something were to fail.
The pricing is quite high, though there is definitely value.
The name change, while necessary, has caused confusion with our client base. I feel like the default should be to reconnect open applications, not a secondary choice. I'm never confident of how voice will work over a VM, this may be how infra setup our VDI but I do have dropped calls on several occasions.
