I have been able to easily access data to supplement my investigations using the MES system.
It has a very clean UI and is easily understood by our primarily Hispanic workforce. it has replaced paperwork for Quality wherever necessary and USDA has preferred it over paperwork. Downtime / RTPM capture are all solid info. Good / Attractive KPI's
It provides flexible and prompt data management system, which enable everyone to follow up the system and to update any dataflow anytimeç
I would have liked if MES could also store data at different process steps and not just whether different process steps had been completed.
Lack of Analytics, Inability to trend by Standard (AOR) vs Tmax, Tasks and Reviews are not functional. Reporting Module is cool, but not consistently available (Time Series, Performance Pack). More than anything what I dislike is the Unrealistic understanding and capability of their own product. We already bought it, misrepresenting what it is capable at this point is counterproductive to both of us. I wish there was more CLEAR communication on the ACTUAL direction of the system instead of this perpetual sales pitch. It is a good system, but it could be best in class.
There may be more statistical background which can provide point of view to users and quick response time in any noncomformity.

MES is a very useful tool used across our production floor to ensure all process steps are tracked. It's easy to use and can be used in a variety of ways. Lots of Potential, Lots of Value, Slow to Adopt
System has alot of potential. We use this system to guide many of the decisions we make in the plant, however we could be getting much more out of it if Aptean was quicker to apply changes/updates.
