Adobe Acrobat

What I like the most is how Adobe Acrobat manages to combine professional security with everyday convenience. For my compliance job, security features like redaction and e-signatures are critical. But what I use constantly is the chrome extension. It is super handy for quickly converting web pages or pdfs I find online into word documents without opening the full application. The premium features are worth the price alone. The ability to edit a PDF directly or convert the finished report accurately back to Word for reuse is a massive time saver. The conversion accuracy is really good, I don't have to spend time fixing formatting errors.

1) Powerful Editing - the Edit PDF tool allows you to fix typos, change fonts, or swap out images directly in a PDF as if it were a Word document. 2) Fill & Sign - The fill & sign feature makes filling out non-interactive forms incredibly easy. You can click anywhere to type, add check-marks, and drop in your saved signature in a matter of seconds. 3) Compatibility - Integrates well with Microsoft 365. Creating PDFs directly from the ribbon within Word, Excel, or Outlook (without opening Acrobat separately) is a feature I rely on regularly.

What I found wrong about Adobe Acrobat is that, it sometimes lags or it is too slow which personally irritates me as there has been a couple of times when I needed to edit some documents urgently but just because it was slow at that time, it took a little more time as I expected however since it met my needs, I was not upset in the end but happy because it helped.

I do not have any issues that actually stop me from doing my job, but I do have a few gripes. No. 1) The Subscription cost. Acrobat Pro is very expensive and I really wish we could just go with a perpetual license instead of paying monthly for the professional tools like redaction and advanced editing that I use every day. Also, when dealing with extremely large reports, the desktop app can sometimes get slow, but that is not a deal breaker. The process for applying redaction is reliable but clunky; it takes too many steps to permanently apply it across dozens of pages, and I wish that part was more streamlined.

1) High Subscription Costs 2) Performance Bloat - The software often feels heavy, slow to load, and is cluttered with unwanted background processes and AI features. 3) UI Disruption: The latest interface redesign hides essential tools which can complicate simple workflows.

In my opinion, the major issue with this software is its subscription cost compared to other similar software. Also, the difficult interface as a new user faces issues in the beginning but once they master it with time, it becomes a super helpful tool. Another issue that I can talk about is the cloud syncing issues as I, myself have faced it multiple times when it did not sync smoothly between devices.
