I personally like the way that Balbix can report the cybersecurity risks in real-time, quantify and convert them into a single reportable model. It automates the cybersecurity posture, prioritizes the vulnerabilities and risks and helps to reduce them.
The UI is pleasant to look at.
Data that is current and relevant. Dashboards that can be as granular as we need them to be. Overall picture of the vulnerabilities impacting our assets.
While Balbix can quantify the risks, it still does not separate the industries in different tiers and score them like some other programs to better help organization with their decisions. I am sure Balbix can integrate these features in future.
There is a complete lack of API support. There is no method to interact with Balbix that doesn't require direct user manual interaction. The level of manual effort is so extreme that even when a user attempts to generate a report or data export they have to wait sometimes almost an hour for the report to be generated then manually log back in to download the report. In discussions with Balbix, an API has been promised for years and never delivered, we have gone so far as to request a scheduled data dump to an S3 bucket which similarly went nowhere.

Balbix provides sub par results, regularly incorrect data that has to be corrected, and refuses to be open to customer feedback or feature requests. They do not provide an API, limiting the functionality of their service to ONLY manual labor from our team. A very good product and easy to install
Balbix is great product, in one look at the dashboard you can see how vulnerable is your networks and with the fast and great coverage of all your assets provided by Balbix agent; you know it very fast after initial deployment. Support team is great they care about their customers!! Balbix have a major place in my cybersecurity tools box!
