Its very convenient. The integration is quite simple and it has all of the functionalities you can expect on a bidder without any of the costs of building your own software.
Quality of inventory, intuitive UI features, diversity of data sources and supply side integration for CTV/OTT inventory.
Product: Dependability and scalability of integration which has adapted as our business has grown. Compare to other BaaS options Beeswax does seem to continue to lead the market. In a true BaaS scenario flexibility to accommodate custom bidding scenarios and algos is key and we have been well supported there. Service: In most cases good and consistent responsiveness to feature requests. Very responsive to Support requests. Easy access to senior and tenured team members.
Margins are not very transparent. The take rate on publishers inventory is a bit high compared to the market
The slow response from the partnership team on contractual stuff but apart from that the service from Beeswax team is super efficient.
Supply integrations are a limiter for Beeswax. They don't have direct integrations with some large O&O supply sources like Verizon Media (or didn't when it was Verizon Media pre-Apollo). Also integrations to smaller niche suppliers with unique inventory types can be difficult to push through.

Best BaaS option in the industry, hoping Freewheel acquisition doesn't change this
Provides all the standard buying tools and reporting you would expect and have added some valuable capabilities this year around win/loss reasons, etc. Re: DCO, handling of 3rd party ad servers is what one would expect, with pharma occasionally being an outlier but that is the case for a lot of platforms as pharma buyers regularly change their requirements. I'm not a current user of DMP services We have been assured by the BW team that post-acquisition they will continue to innovate and respond to customer requirements vs focusing primarily or exclusively on Freewheel/Comcast/NBCU.
