The password keeps rotating and anytime we can retrieve the credential, this secures the password. Also, we do not need to remember a difficult password as we can retreive it anytime whenever needs be.

We moved from on-prem PI version to PasswordSafe and we are enjoying not having to do upgrades of the infrastructure any longer. This did take some work to get the configuration right but BT worked with us every step of the way. We like the configuration options, API's available for plugin's, and GUI.
The cost of this product is high but worth it for the features that it provides. With time passage, DB will grow and some problems may happen with clients. For example, when we install OS, the power broker agent is automatically installed but still, computers do not report to Password-safe and we are unable to retrieve the password. Password-safe requires around 4 hours to connect the system to the network so everything can sync with the app and DB servers. They should improve this waiting period.

Some of the issues we've had were with account discovery operations because our environment is pretty large. I wouldn't say I dislike it because it's necessary, but I would say have patience with tuning the configuration and getting it right.
