I've been working with the platform nearly 10 years, now in my 3rd company using it. What I like the most: - reliable and flexible data connectivity (import and export), - good documentation (e.g. 'see me in Postman' for REST Endpoints), - intuitive and easy to use, - making complex tech comprehensible for non-tech team members, - matching well Marketing Engagement requirements towards building an omni-channel CRM, - strong Customer Success Managers, - Team is open for feedback, listens to the Customers and keeps improving the product, helpful in looking for workarounds when something is not available out-of-the-box, - great community around the product (e.g. Braze Bonfire, all events). What could be improved: - pace of updates can be hard to follow, - dashboard customisation per relevant features or per user role would be helpful, - help tickets becomes less helpful as you grow more experienced - responses do not match expectations/ depth, - uneven development focus - newer features get lots of attention (e.g. AI, WhatsApp) while basic ones remain untouched (e.g. clicks include unsubscribe clicks or opens include machine opens, leading to the wrong idea about the message engagement), - platform develops a lot in the direction of frequent usage, high retention brands, not always matching reality of the slower businesses (e.g. limitation to event count in the last 30d).

The stability that the product creates. It rarely breaks!

Cross-channel orchestration: the ability to manage multiple different digital tools in one platform. Innovative AI decisioning features and self-serve tools to troubleshoot / create liquid logic.

Dislike

As mentioned above: - uneven development focus - hyped features vs. basics, - eCommerce focus on the platform, - small caveats with many features - e.g. certain data infrastructure needed, specific amount of data needed - you can get hyped about feature announcement and then find out it is useless for your brand.

- Less direct integrations with our existing systems - Thought there were more partner products (direct Snowflake SQL querying in tool) - Operational challenges (need to save all the time or lose all past work)

Dislike

SMS offering could be improved. Need the ability to have different user phone numbers associated with different subscription groups. Also their link shortening offering is still not up to par where we need it to be. They do not have a universal linking solution so clients who have our app are not always deeplinked which is a problem. Additionally, would like to have better visibility into our SMS / RCS consumption within the dashboard to allow us to make adjustments as needed to ensure we are pacing appropriately and don't run into overage charges.

    Really enjoy working in the Braze platform. The ability to manage multiple digital marketing channels in the same platform has allowed us to build cross-channel journeys all in the same platform. Additionally, when we are integrating any new data streams, multiple digital marketing teams are able to leverage the new data reducing the amount of integration work needed.

    Braze is an incredibly intuitive product. We are able to house all of our business units in one area and crete hyper personalised multichannel messages to our customers whilst also monitoring performance and conducting multiple optimisation tests based off this data
