On the one hand, this is a revolutionary product that has made my life better for some time. The suggestions, the agentic assistant, they all are very good and make my life better. I do not like the pricing changes that are unfair.

Cursor Likes & Dislikes

Like

One of the standout features of Cursor is its seamless integration with other platforms, such as GitHub and Notion. This connectivity allows for a smoother transition when managing code repositories and creating context-rich documentation in Notion. The ability to automate tasks and generate/write comprehensive documentation directly aligns with my workflow, significantly enhancing productivity and streamlining problem-solving.

Like

This is a great product with a wonderful UI. I owe it a lot as it has changed my approach towards coding and has removed a lot of the obstacles. It makes difficult things easy.

Like

Cursor AI makes it easier to understand a complete codebase by helping you quickly grasp module architecture, interdependencies and logic. It simplifies tracing references across modules, libraries and APIs, making it clear how functions interact and data moves. However, it is limited to module level.

Dislike

While Cursor is a robust tool, there are areas for improvement. First, the learning curve can be steep for those not familiar with similar automation tools. Secondly, while integration with platforms like GitHub and Notion is beneficial, the initial setup can sometimes be cumbersome, requiring a bit of trial and error. Lastly, the user interface, though functional, could benefit from a more modern and intuitive design to improve user experience; it's very code heavy and not intuitive to users not familiar with that field.

Dislike

I really don't like their pricing changes. I think they are very unfriendly towards a loyal community. This has significantly reduced my usage and the ability to use my time effectively.

Dislike

Cursor AI's pricing sits midway in the market. For the productivity gains it offers, the cost feels justified, though scaling across larger teams would quickly add up. On the security side, while the platform is strong in its development assessment, it provides limited visibility into how code, prompts, and integrations are handled under the hood. Greater transparency and enterprise-grade controls would strengthen confidence in sensitive use cases.

Platform Reduces Manual Work But Lacks Visibility In Structured Agent Creation

    4.0
    Sep 10, 2025
The platform accelerates prototyping by reducing the manual overhead of code scaffolding, documentation lookup, and testing workflows. However, when moving beyond experimentation into structured agent creation, several limitations become apparent - particularly around end-to-end visibility and control. Limited visual feedback also adds challenges in building a complete agent.

End-to-End Project Execution Improved, Occasional Model Limitations

    5.0
    Jan 22, 2026
Cursor has significantly improved the productivity at work. We love the AI agent and their capabilities. Large projects are much better managed and cursor does a great job at code stages like testing deployment and production debugging too. We love the fact that Cursor has great understanding of our architecture once fed with the right information, it is able to manage large projects end to end with little to no guidance from senior devs.

AI Features in Cursor IDE Lead to Advanced AI Code Generation and Collaboration

    4.0
    Nov 4, 2025
Cursor experience has been amazing AI Vibe coding editor that we have onboarded in our company more than 6 months ago. Being the first AI-native IDEs, it is way ahead in bringing new features and the UX, code suggestions and agent works way better than others. The recent multi-agent interface is just amazing; allowing our devs to use multiple agents in parallel and then pick the best solution. Sandbox terminal is also quite handy in saving time in writing and running commands manually. Our front-end developers are loving the browser integration. for debugging.

    AI IDE that accelerates coding

    4.0
    Sep 18, 2025
Cursor is a refreshing upgrade compared to traditional IDEs. AI tightly coupled into the workflow. For application development, especially when juggling multiple frameworks or shifting between front-end and backend. Cursor speeds up prototyping and reduces the grind of boilerplate coding. It does take a bit longer, and projects still need human oversight to maintain structure and best practices. But overall it has been a serious productivity booster for my teams.
