The Cybereason MDR solution has a lot of good features from informing about the threat in real-time to automatically opening a ticket to the global SOC team. The best part is it's sensors that detect threats very well. They are very lightweight and consume very little space on the end devices. The automatic response of this MDR is good as we can set the policy to automatically respond on threats like the exclusion of the system from the network. The global SOC team of Cybereason is very good as it always works on the ticket on priority and provide regular comments on the ticket and provide the action that we will have to take.
The agent is a cpu hog on servers sometimes and troubleshooting that is not great. Removing security just to have a server function is not good practice.
detection time
Cybereason still does not have a support team. This is their biggest problem with the product. If you are stuck in an emergency situation and would like to call or email them for a quick response, you are not going to get it as they do not have a support team. We have very few customization options in Cybereason. The policies are predefined and we will get only a few options to change the policies as per our requirements.

It has a sensor that is installed on each of the endpoint devices and is connected to the global Cybereason SOC center. Once a threat occurs, we will receive an alert. A ticket will be opened automatically and assigned to the Cybereason global SOC team for investigation. As the investigation goes on, they will update the ticket and provide all the information related to that. Apart from this, we can go to the MalOps management system and check the threat properly. In this section, we can analyze the alert and we can do a deep analysis of the threat.This section will show us the Machine and user infected with this threat, suspicious process executed to the machine, incoming and outgoing connections, the timeline when this threat enters into the system and when it started executing. Then it will show you the path where this threat is stored, the ports from which it tried to make connections, and any data if shared from the system.
