Performance of FileWave Across Market Features
FileWave Likes & Dislikes
Manage macOS and Windows Clients in the same app, infinite capabilities due to custom fields and scripts
Use for iPad 1-to-1 deployment and management. Love the ease of setup for the iPad
Cross-platform support is huge for us. Applying our known macOS workflow to new Windows devices saved huge amounts of training time, especially since our users are already familiar with our self-service platform.
It sometimes has some weird bugs or graphic glitches in the administration client (ver. 16.x), weve encountered dead database entries (clients still showing up)
Wish I could change individual devices profile and name without major overall efforts.
Some features that come built-in to other MDM providers (JAMF, for example) are missing in FileWave, or require custom scripts that always feel like a bit of a workaround. Sometimes the wait for new feature support following a major OS release can be frustrating.

Filewave is great for iPad deployment and managing!
We went into the 1 to 1 iPad deployment knowing we wanted an MDM to help manage and deploy the devices. After looking at a few options Filewave was, by far, the best choice for us. It worked as described in trial and when we went live it worked great. Still love the innovation and how well they work with Apple on iOS updates and such! - Technology SpecialistGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source

Solid MDM platform for all mobile device needs.
We have used filewave for several years and have just started to expand their usage into the windows side of things. The product continues to be very valuable to us.
