HCL has a good commercial understanding of our needs, with the ability to adapt the solution based on our customers market requirements. The selection process took us about 2 years, the transition was performed in a very short timeframe with almost no slippage on the proposed planning. By working with HCL, we also get access to a broader portfolio of their services and can start accelerating our own and our customers businesses to a much higher level.

HCM resources provided by vendor were, very skilled. Account manager and sales executive were very supportive and extremely professional. I really enjoyed working HCM technical and functional resources.
The changeover from contract signature to transition phase brings in new teams from HCL. The handover from the bid team towards the transition team did not always go as expected. Because of the size of the team that HCL brings in, the additional workload for our team spiked in order to bring everyone from HCL up to speed with extensive knowledge transfer sessions, bringing in new tooling and new services. If you're working the first time with local, nearshore and offshore teams, the coordination and project management is a challenge. Mainly due to time zone differences, language and collaboration over sometimes difficult data connections.
Resource training and onboarding takes 3-4 weeks, can be done a bit faster.
